Note to self

There is no fire place in the Caribbean.
I could be the first to build one. Thought

Note To You
Christmas time is not about the spending and making and showing off what you can afford or not afford, it's more than  the parties and new furniture, and how many gifts you can receive.

I love Christmas time I do. The atmosphere is set for magical things to happen but we miss a lot of it because we get caught it with our wants and don't haves.

You can make what you have wonderful by cleaning it up, and shinning  it up.
Crystals and glasses you use a little of soap liquid a al little of bleach (clorox), wash and then  rinse in some water with a little of  vinegar, dry with linen towels, to prevent speck of lint and the crystal and glass will have a shine.

Dust and polish, polish and dust, I love Christmas time Ham and turkey on my plate, big enough for me to share. with forks from one end of the table in mine and mine in another across the room drinking and sipping of  wine and eggnogs I wonder who will be left behind. Boxing day comes your eyes are open, oh my I have to catch the jouvert  band
That is Christmastime in the Caribbean

Let me clear this up, I'm not a cleaning expert am telling you what works for me.
The walls use some soap and bleach and you scrub the not to remove the paint, but the dirt
I am  painter in my own rights, I paint for myself, at least where I can reach - _- where I can't reach The Lord send the help. Thank you Lord for that!! Amen Amen

You don't have to throw out you old furniture, if they are real hard wood and they have lost there colour you can sand it lightly. Use tape to cover up the knobs and areas that need to be covered up and as a family project you can varnish or paint it spending time together with the  family. That is some magic to hear laughter and fun.

If it is the fabricated wood you can do the same carefully though.

Christmas  is special, yes I know Jesus was not born on this day and all that. I am aware but the fact is; it has positive notions; we celebrated His  Birth, the gift, God The Father gave. With family friends and love ones and strangers as well; we eat, we laugh at the end of the year, hoping and planing solutions for a brighter and prosperous New Year.
