I am woman 

I am not just my complexion

 I am woman

I am strong and bold

I am woman I feel pain too

In this very same world

As you too

I am woman I have the need to be

Free from the hate and the pain

That our community succumbs too

I am woman born to be free

I am woman bore children and have lost children

Why can’t you see?

I am woman just like how you are human

I am not the colour of my skin

I am woman
